CREATe Leading Practices for Anti-Corruption

No matter what industry or country you do business in, corruption – internally and among supply chain and business partners – puts your company and your reputation at risk.

CREATe Leading Practices for Anti-Corruption is a three-step service to assess and improve your internal business processes – or that of your supply chain and business partners – for preventing and detecting corruption. You will receive actionable guidance to build an effective anti-corruption management system.

Covers applicable anti-corruption laws and international guidelines for your company.

Available in a version aligning to the ISO 37001 Anti-Bribery Management Systems Standard

Helps you work with your supply chain and business partners, to strengthen their anti-corruption and anti-bribery business processes.

How it Works

CREATe Leading Practices for Anti-Corruption helps companies build business processes to prevent and detect corruption. Here is the three-step program:

1. Online Self-Assessment

The first step is to measure existing business processes. This online, 60- to 90-minute self-assessment evaluates the maturity of your company’s – or your business partner’s – current business processes for detecting and preventing corruption in seven categories. Upon completion, you will receive scores in each category and a composite score. This gives you an immediate picture of the strengths and weaknesses of your program.

2. Expert Evaluation

In this step, you gain valuable insights from a CREATe expert in a discussion about the self-assessment and documents related to your anti-corruption business processes. You will have an opportunity to ask questions, elaborate on your current practices, and discuss ways to make improvements. After the independent evaluation, the CREATe expert gives you a second set of scores based on the evaluation and provides an analysis and benchmark report comparing your scores to the blinded, aggregated scores of other companies that have also taken the CREATe Leading Practices for Anti-Corruption self-assessment and independent evaluation. To help guide improvements, you receive a summary report with specific, actionable recommendations and suggested priorities.

3. Improvement Plan and Project

The third and most important step is the improvement phase.  The CREATe expert will work with you to identify a specific improvement project. You will receive a comprehensive guide and complementary online course with information on best practices and international guidelines, as well as tools for getting started, such as guidance on policies, procedures and controls; checklists for risk assessment and due diligence; training guidelines; and more.

What Our Clients Are Saying

“I learned a lot from your program about how to build a strong anti-corruption compliance program. As a private equity firm, I also appreciate you helping us evaluate our existing and potential investments. We found CREATe’s management systems approach useful as a means of helping us understand how we can go about making improvements.”

“We are honored to participate in the CREATe anti-corruption program. We have received a lot of valuable professional advice from the assessment. I like CREATe’s preventive and proactive approach. We look forward to further cooperation.”

“One of the key focuses for me is the improvement and rollout of our anti-corruption program. I am updating the existing Code of Conduct and policy, which is really just the first step in this process. To help with the next stage, CREATe has agreed to help me identify how “mature” our anti-corruption program is by providing me with an evaluation service.”
